In our holiday winter wonderland, we can finally be two teenagers in love and just breathe. Leaving the lies behind we find inspiration, write music, and busk in the Christmas market.

 

Reality bursts through the door when our cover song goes viral and exposes us… not only to the paparazzi, but also El’s stepdad; who happens to be my estranged biological father. 

 

He proposes a deal I can't refuse: return to America with him and he'll take care of Mum’s costly clinical trial. But he wants El back home too, and she has a better offer. One that gives her a coveted career in music. One that doesn't include me.

 

El insists we keep our relationship a secret while we’re apart, but I’m tired of hiding. From the past, from the press… and most of all, from what El and I could be together. Even though I’m ready to shout about our love from the rooftops, I can’t say no to her.
